It was celebration time at The Sebel Resort & Spa
Hawkesbury recently, when over 100 excited corporate meeting planners gathered
in grand style for a gala dinner to hear the winner of the hotel's fabulous
‘Around the World in 9 Days' promotion.
The gala dinner also gave The Sebel Resort the opportunity
to showcase their brilliantly executed themed events and diversity of
conference space, with all rooms decked out in the various countries
represented in the promotion.
Guests mixed, mingled and entered into the spirit of the
night by walking their way through each room themed from Paris to London and
New York's Studio 54.
As the champagne flowed and the frivolity heightened, it was
the perfect setting to announce the lucky winner of the ‘Around the World in 9
Days' promotion, which the hotel has run in conjunction with The Sebel Kirkton
Park Hunter Valley over the past 12 months.
In announcing the winner, the hotel's Sales & Marketing
Manager, Kun Rahadian, said "Around the World in 9 Days has been a highly
successful promotion for us with over 170 entries".
"We came up with the idea as initiative to show first hand
the amazing diversity of our accommodation, and conference space, as well as
the dedicated talent of our events teams, both here at The Sebel Resort &
Spa Hawkesbury and sister hotel, The Sebel Kirkton Park Hunter Valley".
"Each meeting planner who booked and confirmed a residential
conference with a minimum revenue of $5000, went into the draw to win seven
direct giveaways of luxury accommodation, spa treatments, French champagne,
digital cameras, handy cameras by SONY, LCD TV's and three night's at the
5-star Sea Temple Resort & Spa Port Douglas or Palm Cove.
"And the chance to win the grand prize of a trip around the
world staying three nights each at a 5 star Warwick Hotel in the heart of
London, Paris and New York. A trip of a lifetime really, and I would like to
thank all our corporate planners who enthusiastically supported this exciting
promotion," he said.

booked 19 residential conferences...........
and is planning to take her trip this summer ......... with her husband, it will be

 The Sebel Resort & Spa Hawkesbury Valley in Windsor is a favourite venue amongst meeting planners, it’s less than an hours drive from Sydney CBD and the airport just recently completed the renovations of its 25 Deluxe Spa Rooms.
Kun Rahadian, the Area Sales & Marketing Manager commented, this is the final piece of our plan as we have renovated the major rooms in our inventory with the barracks room and the courtyard rooms completed in the early 2006, we have changed the style to contemporary earthy colours.
